“In just a few short weeks we will open our Fall 2026 season. There is so much great music standing by to delight our ears this fall, and I can’t wait to hear it!
So, why should we wait? In anticipation of the upcoming season, I decided to whet our listening appetites by creating The Director’s Mixtape, a playlist lovingly curated by yours truly that features music programmed for the upcoming season. There is one Mixtape for Sammons Jazz and a second Mixtape for Sammons Cabaret.
Sammons Jazz
Original tunes by local jazz artists and other tracks recorded by jazz icons that serve as the inspiration for what musicians will be presenting live this fall. Contemporary jazz, Brazilian rhythm, jazz fusion, and a tribute to Coltrane and more.
