Sammons Jazz Artistic Director and Steinway Artist Arlington Jones leads The Brethren in a sold-out, two-set tribute to the series' past artistic directors: Vicho Vicencio, Roger Boykin, and James Gilyard. The concert also celebrates the release of the "Sammons Jazz Directors Cut" CD/DVD marking the 30th anniversary of the acclaimed concert series. Although known for playing two guitars at once, Rhett Butler is an accomplished guitarist whose true gift is his mastery of multiple styles. Recently inducted into Buddy magazine's Texas Tornado Hall of Fame, he has played alongside Joe Satriani, Tommy Emmanuel, and Eric Johnson. Currently a third-year medical student, Rhett reprises his trademark hammer-on playing style in this rare North Texas appearance.
