SUMMARY:Dreamweavers Disco | Sunday Ecstatic Dance w. SurprisinglySimple
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the :: D R E A M WEAVERS D I S C O :: a full spectrum sonic journey paired artistically with a mesmerizing laser show to catalyze personal and community alignment. \n**NOTE :: this dance will happen at 5P (1hr later than our normal time) to accommodate for the special lighting + effects included in this show. \n❤️ A portion of proceeds for each event will go towards hurricane relief efforts. \nJoin us // in greeting special guest artists Anthony + Rachel Blum as they tour the US weaving the medicine of light + sound. \nWhat is the Dreamweavers Disco?\nThe Dreamweavers Disco is a safe haven for you to express your most inspired existence. Tap into your heart space. Connect with your body. Explore the senses. Come dance and drop in. \nAbout the Dream Blessings & Activations via Dreamweavers’ Disco:\nAt this event there will be an altar space for everyone to spend time with as they choose. It is a place for stillness\, exploration\, play\, and dreaming. \n“Our favorite piece on the altar is the dream box. This is present at every Dreamweavers’ Disco to collect each and every one of your dreams. At the altar you have the opportunity to write down your dreams\, place them in the altar box\, and allow us to carry them to the next city to be blessed by the next group of Dreamweavers. At the start of our Dreamweavers’ Disco\, we will take a moment during the meditation to bless the dreams of those that dreamed and danced with us at the previous event in. Then\, your dreams will be blessed at the next event.” \nWith this practice\, together\, we are weaving a collective web of dreams and blessings. We are all connected\, we are all one. When one of our dreams becomes a reality\, all of our dreams come true. \nWhat is Ecstatic Dance?\nWe create a space that is inspiring and uplifting; without talking\, alcohol or the nightclub scene. We encourage participants to utilize the Ecstatic Dance space as an invitation for their magical mysterious nature\, soulful somatic movement\, creative self-expression\, and heart-centered connection to self\, life and others. We hold a nonverbal\, barefoot\, alcohol-free container to keep the journey intentional and lucid. You can dance the night away and still wake up early to do awesome stuff in the world! \nSCHEDULE |\n5P | Warm-Up // Stretch – Breathe – Ground\n5:30P | Opening Circle + Intention Setting\n6P | DreamWeavers Disco Ecstatic Dance + Lighting Journey\n7:30P | Sound Bath + Closing Circle \nLOCATION |\nOwenWood Farm + Neighbor Space\n1451 John West Rd\, Dallas\, TX 75228\n(Parking is plentiful!) \nADMISSION |\nTickets Available Online + at the door\n$20 :: w. 5 Dance Pass\n$30 :: Advance Drop-In\n$40 :: Door Ticket \nAbout the Artists:\nSurprisinglySimple is a sacred bass music duo comprised of singer/songwriter Rachel Blum and Musician/Producer/Lighting designer Anthony Blum.
