DESCRIPTION:Pianist and composer Julie Bonk leads the Julie Bonk Band bringing her signature blend of jazz and blues to the stage. She’s joined by Chris Clarke on bass\, Rachella Parks-Washington on saxophone\, Andrew Griffith on drums\, and Andrea Wallace on vocals. \nThen\, enjoy a standout performance from the Brad Leali Quartet featuring Carla Helmbrecht. This dynamic quartet includes Brad Leali’s rich alto saxophone\, Carla Helmbrecht’s smooth\, expressive vocals\, Stefan Karlsson on piano\, Quincy Davis on drums\, and Henry Beal on bass. \nThe concert begins at 7:30 p.m.; doors to Meadows Hall open at 7:00 p.m. A pre-concert reception opens at 6:00 p.m. on the Mary Anne Sammons Cree Mezzanine (second floor).
