DESCRIPTION:The Brian Mulholland Quintet brings the music of acclaimed guitarist and composer Frank Gambale to the Sammons Jazz stage with an energetic program of intricate jazz fusion. Led by virtuoso bassist Brian Mulholland\, the quintet features Tim Ishii on flute and saxophone\, Pete Weise on guitar\, Darwin Martin on keyboards\, and Mike Spay on drums. \nThe second set features the Rob Holbert Group\, delivering smooth jazz\, timeless standards\, and soulful classics. Led by saxophonist and vocalist Rob Holbert\, the ensemble showcases the versatility of jazz with Norman Williams on piano\, John Adams on bass\, and Lawrence Ferrell on drums. \n\nThis concert begins at 7:30 p.m.; doors open at 7:00 p.m. Check-in opens at 6:00 p.m. in the lobby with a pre-concert reception on the 2nd floor. Tickets are $55 per person or $50 for Sammons members. \nAdmission includes light refreshments\, beverages\, a pre-concert reception\, and complimentary valet parking.
