SUMMARY:Sammons Jazz: Jazz with a Twist
DESCRIPTION:Vocal dynamo Andrea Wallace returns to the stage for a night that fuses tradition with fresh\, new perspectives. Joining her are Eric Willis on piano\, Nick Woodhouse on bass\, Cleon Edwards on drums\, and Marcus Parks on trombone—bringing flair and finesse to every phrase. \nAlso taking the stage is guitarist Todd Parsnow\, whose deep-rooted love for jazz comes through in every performance. Drawing on a wide range of musical influences\, he brings both versatility and heart to the stage—and might even perform some vocals during the set. He’s joined by Jonathan Fisher on bass\, Andrew Griffith on drums\, and a dynamic horn section. \nThe concert begins at 7:30 p.m.; doors to Meadows Hall open at 7:00 p.m. A pre-concert reception opens at 6:00 p.m. on the Mary Anne Sammons Cree Mezzanine (second floor).
