Hello! Just in case you wondering my name is pronounced “muh-REE-kah.”
I was born in the Philippines as the youngest of four children. My family immigrated to the U.S. and we have lived in Dallas since I was 4 years old. I speak Tagalog fluently and will never grow tired of the food. I own two dogs that’ll never get along, but are still loved very much so I just could not give either one up.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me playing the piano or sleeping next to one. I’m not good at math but I do have lots of interests from music, video editing, and art to media development, coding, and technology. I also love reading books when they’re being read to me, binge watching shows on Netflix, and coffee shops and long walks are an aesthetic.
My career goals include blanketing all my friends in the arts in tons of support to help them grow and succeed, building pianos, and opening up a cafe in the later part of my life.
I started as a Spring intern in 2017 from Cedar Valley College majoring in Music Business, and have since realized this is my dream job coming into fruition. Everybody here has guided me so well and I’ve learned so much, now I’m honored to be a part of the Sammons Center team as the youngest and best looking in heels.
