Hannah B. Garcia
Director of Development

Hi there – I’m Hannah!

I was born and raised in Dallas, TX and have been surrounded by the arts all my life. My mother paints watercolor and oils, and my father was a blues musician which had me sitting on bar stools in lower Greenville and Deep Ellum before I could even walk. Eventually, I began playing flute and majored in music in college.

I live in North Dallas with my husband Brent, and our rambunctious yet stunningly handsome Blue Merle Australian Shepherd, Ventus.

My favorite hobbies are baking, cooking, and making handmade cards. Like a good millennial, I also spend far too much time shopping on Amazon and gaming with my husband. You’ll also hardly ever see me without a book close by. I love to read everything from fiction and biographies to mystery and fantasy. My goal is to build a huge library in our home.

I began my professional career in the Sammons Center working as an intern for one of the resident organizations. Little did I know that I would soon “come home” to work for this amazing organization and beautiful building!
