Hannah B. Garcia
Director of Development

Hi there – I’m Hannah!

I was born and raised in Dallas, TX, and have been surrounded by the arts all my life. My mother paints watercolor and oils, and my father was a blues guitarist and singer which had me sitting on bar stools in lower Greenville and Deep Ellum before I could even walk. Eventually, I played flute and majored in music business in college.

I live in South Dallas with my husband Brent and our sweet pup, Noctis, a Belgian Groenendael. My hobbies are baking, cooking, and reading. I also love gaming with my husband, both PC and console games. You’ll hardly ever see me without a book close by – I love to read everything from nonfiction and biographies to mystery and fantasy.

After 7 years of nonprofit fundraising in the medical nonprofit world, I soon came “home” to work for the Sammons Center in 2017, where I started my professional career as an intern. I’m so lucky to work for this amazing organization and beautiful building!
