A Message from the Sammons Center Regarding COVID-19
The Sammons Center for the Arts remains temporarily closed to regular activities. We continue to closely monitor developments related to COVID-19 and follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local health and government authorities such as the City of Dallas, Dallas County Health and Human Services, and the State of Texas.
As the pandemic situation evolves, we are planning for the eventual re-opening of the Sammons Center. On July 15, we and 50 other local arts organizations issued a set of dynamic guidelines for re-opening once we are authorized to do so. These plans include strategies for cleaning and sanitizing and simple, non-intrusive ways to check the health of people coming into the building.
In the meantime, please stay healthy and secure. We encourage you to support the local arts community via the many events and activities offered online. If you have any questions, our staff is generally available by email and phone; click here for the staff directory or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to when we can share the arts with you in person!
