Denise Lee’s powerful voice, her warm and friendly demeanor, and her sassy and sensual style of performing have charmed theater, nightclub, and television audiences on three continents for more than two decades. The 2013 Sammons Cabaret Artist of the Year, award-winning actress, and down-to-earth diva returns to the Sammons Center Thursday, October 17, to perform her preferred style of cabaret — singing, acting, and bantering with her fans.
She and her accompanist Norman Williams take everyone on a musical adventure they call ‘Jukebox Cabaret’ where the audience gets to help select the set list. Expect lots of fun and a few surprises, but no intermission!
Admission to the Carson Series of Sammons Cabaret is $45 per person and includes wine, beer, nonalcoholic beverages, light appetizers, and valet parking. Sammons members receive a $5 per person discount. Refreshments are served from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.; the show begins at 8 p.m. in Kurth Hall, located on the fourth floor of the Sammons Center.
