The Sammons Center’s new Art-Works program includes training and workshops such as the upcoming “Event Planning: Be Your Own Caterer” on Wednesday, August 7, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Using supplies bought at local grocers, Joanna St. Angelo and Hannah Garcia will show attendees how to save money and present beautifully-arranged and delicious refreshments at receptions, meetings, and other events. The cost to attend is $35 per person.
Created as a resource for nonprofit arts organizations and artists, Art-Works offers online and in-person resources designed to help them grow, thrive, and adapt to the broad and ever-changing landscape of arts management. The program features numerous tools, information, and access to the most current best practice concepts.
Upcoming workshops will focus on therapeutic arts, retreats, annual appeals, and journalism and the arts. Click here for more information about Art-Works or on the button below to register for the event planning program.
